Student KRSU participates in the International Forum «Growth Points: Traditions and Development on the Great Silk Road» in Uzbekistan
A student of the Department of International Journalism at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Igor Lyogonky, took part in the International Forum «Growth Points: Traditions and Development on the Great Silk Road», which takes place from October 6 to 10, 2025 in Tashkent and Samarkand (Uzbekistan).
The forum brought together young leaders, journalists, researchers and experts from different Eurasian countries to discuss current issues of regional integration, intercultural dialogue and prospects for the Greater Eurasian Partnership.
The programme includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, strategy sessions, debates and meetings with university representatives. Participants discuss the role of youth in the development of international cooperation, environmental and cultural initiatives, as well as the development of media as a platform for intercultural exchange.
Igor Lyogonky will present KRSU with a report «The Green Dimension of Integration: Central Asia on the Threshold of Change», which will address issues of environmental sustainability, regional cooperation and the role of youth in promoting the green agenda in Eurasia.
Participation of a KRSU student in such a significant international event — is an opportunity to express yourself on the Eurasian platform, exchange ideas and present the university in a discussion about the future of sustainable development and environmental integration on the Silk Road.
