A KRSU student took 2nd place at an international conference at Moscow State University

6th year student of the Faculty of Medicine KRSU Hasanov Rafiz spoke at the II International Conference «AI Technologies in Science and Education», held at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov.

Rafiz won an honorable 2nd place by presenting a unique project dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence to reconstruct a person’s appearance based on craniometric data. The study was carried out at the Department of Forensic Medicine under the leadership of Associate Professor Ismailov Nurlan.

In his report, Rafiz demonstrated how, based on craniometric indicators, it is possible to create a complete and realistic portrait of a person. These developments open new horizons in forensic anthropology and personal identification, which can have a significant impact on scientific and applied research.

The conference brought together leading scientists, experts and students who witnessed advanced advances in the field of artificial intelligence. Rafiz's project was highly appreciated by the jury and participants.
