A student from KRSU presented a scientific report at one of the largest oil and gas conferences in Russia

On June 26–27, 2025, the IV Scientific and Practical Conference on Petroleum Hydrogeology, Geochemistry and Hydrodynamic Modeling was held at Kazan Federal University, which became a key platform for discussing innovations in the oil and gas industry. Among the participants of the event was Sofia Donenko, a student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU).

Sofia presented a poster presentation on the topic «The role of Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺ rapa ions in Sasyk-Sivash (Crimea) in stabilizing oil-water emulsions». The work aroused the interest of experts due to its relevance and deep scientific approach to the study of complex chemical processes in the oil and gas industry.

The conference brought together more than 200 participants, including leading professionals, teachers and students from various universities and research centers. The scientific sections covered a wide range of topics — from hydrodynamic modeling to the application of IT technologies in petroleum and gas geochemistry.

Sofia Donenko's participation was not only a personal achievement, but also evidence of the high level of training of KRSU students, strengthening the university's reputation as a center for innovative education and science in Kyrgyzstan.
