KRSU student Sofia Donenko — among the authors of the All-Russian scientific collection
Second-year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) Sofia Donenko published a scientific article in the collection of proceedings of the IX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference «Modern technology and technologies in the electric power industry and transport: tasks, problems, solutions», organized by the South Ural Technological University.
In her work entitled «Challenges and Opportunities for the Development of “Smart” Energy Networks in Bishkek», Sofia analyzed the key challenges facing the energy system of the capital of Kyrgyzstan: outdated infrastructure, limited funding, cyber threat risks and low public awareness.
She paid special attention to the prospects for introducing smart energy networks that can improve energy efficiency, integrate renewable energy sources, reduce electricity losses and improve the quality of service to consumers. The article also provides an overview of international experience and offers practical recommendations for the implementation of “smart” networks in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The publication of the All-Russian conference in the collection of proceedings testifies to the high level of training of KRSU students and their ability to contribute to solving pressing energy problems.
