Students and staff of KRSU paid tribute to the memory of the heroes

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the "Candle of Memory" event dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War.

In Victory Park named after. D. Asanov, at the monument to the siege survivors, the Big Symphony Orchestra performed Dmitry Shostakovich’s 7th Leningrad Symphony.

To the sounds of famous music, Victory volunteers and participants of the action lit 1,418 candles in the form of a violin and an inscription «7th Symphony in the Name of Life» in memory of those who fell during the Great Patriotic War.

As the participants of the action noted, the symphony sounded like a reminder of those years and the cost of Victory in the war.
