Students of KRSU and RTU MIREA held a joint environmental action in Bishkek

A joint environmental action of students from KRSU and the Russian Technological University MIREA took place on the territory of the future campus of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The cleanup was the first event during the visit of the MIREA delegation to Bishkek and launched a pilot project of international environmental volunteering.

The protesters cleared the site for the construction of a new campus KRSU and discussed the prospects for joint environmental initiatives. According to the organizers, the project is aimed at developing a culture of environmental responsibility and involving students in the improvement of the territories of educational institutions.

During the visit, a strategic session was also held, where students from two universities developed proposals for the development of the volunteer movement, environmental programs and the expansion of international youth cooperation.

The initiative was an important step in strengthening partnerships between universities and forming an active international volunteer community. The action showed that joint efforts of students can bring tangible benefits and contribute to the creation of an environmentally friendly and comfortable university environment.
