KRSU students discussed emergency care in cardiology

The annual student conference organized by the Department of Therapy №2 specialties «General Medicine» was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event was held in an online format and brought together English-speaking students studying in their 4th year.

The conference brought together active and motivated students who demonstrated a high level of theoretical training and mastery of professional terminology. As part of the scientific program, six substantive reports were presented, which covered current issues of diagnosis, pathogenesis and management tactics for the most common emergency conditions in cardiology practice. All reports were prepared under the guidance of the teaching staff of the department.

The presentations demonstrated not only the students' knowledge, but also their desire for a deep understanding of the medical problems they will face in professional practice.

At the end of the conference, participants discussed modern scientific research in the field of cardiology, analyzed clinical cases typical of emergency cardiac care, and developed professional communication skills. Such events contribute not only to the consolidation of knowledge, but also to the formation of clinical thinking, the ability to act in stressful conditions and work in a team.
