KRSU students visited the Kyrgyzpatent Innovation Center

First-year students of the Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin was visited by the State Institution «Innovation Center» under the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent).

The excursion was organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law. The purpose of the event — to introduce students to the mechanisms of state support for innovation, talk about legislation in the field of intellectual property, as well as international cooperation of Kyrgyzstan in this area.

Future lawyers learned about priority areas of scientific research and development, ways to legally protect intellectual property, as well as modern tools for promoting innovation.

Of particular interest was the speech of Keneshbekova Begimai — leading specialist of the department of legal support and international treaties of the State Agency’s law department, a master’s graduate of the Faculty of Law KRSU. She spoke about her professional activities and shared her experience as a lawyer in the public service, emphasizing the advantages and prospects of such a career path.
