KRSU students presented innovative ideas at an international conference at Sechenov University
Students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, specialty «Pediatrics» — Khadija Kuramaeva, Yana Poborshcheva, Alana Beisembaeva and Maya Kozhokeeva — made presentations at the International Scientific and Methodological Conference «Anatomist, scientist, teacher». The event was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Mikhail Sapin — one of the most famous anatomists of the post-Soviet space. The head of the student group was Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU A. Beisembayev.
The conference was held at the Department of Human Anatomy and Histology of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov — one of the oldest in Russia, with more than 260 years of history.
Representatives of KRSU spoke within the section «Issues of teaching anatomy and histology», where they presented their own developments in the field of medical education. In their reports, students spoke about «A creative approach to the knowledge of anatomy for schoolchildren» and demonstrated the results of the study «The effectiveness of introducing innovative methods of teaching morphological disciplines». Their work aroused keen interest among conference participants, becoming an example of a creative approach to teaching complex medical disciplines.
Associate Professor A. Beisembayev also took part in a meeting of the educational and methodological commission on morphological disciplines of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in the field «Clinical Medicine». During the discussion, special attention was paid to the introduction of digital technologies in the process of teaching anatomy and maintaining a balance between classical teaching methods and modern interactive formats.
Help: Mikhail Sapin — outstanding scientist, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, author of fundamental textbooks and atlases on normal human anatomy, which students of medical universities in Russia and the CIS countries have been studying for decades. For 44 years (1971–2015) he headed the Department of Human Anatomy at Sechenov University, leaving a significant mark on the development of domestic medical science and education.
