KRSU students represented the university at the All-Russian Olympiad in Pediatrics with international participation

The IV All-Russian Student Olympiad in Pediatrics with international participation «Pediatrics - a look into the future» took place in an online format in Kazan. The event aimed to improve theoretical training, develop clinical thinking and practical skills of future doctors, as well as strengthen international student cooperation.Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented by a team of students from the Faculty of Medicine:Maya Kozhokeeva (6th year),Takhmina Agayeva (5th year),Anastasia Morgunova (5th year),Alfiya Kurbanova (5th year),Akylay Mamashova (5th year).Under the leadership of curator Galina Afanasenko, the participants successfully completed two stages of the Olympiad, demonstrating a high level of professional training.The first stage was theoretical in nature and included a presentation of the team, tasks on the history of scientific pediatrics, as well as solving test and clinical problems in the main sections of the discipline. Participants required in-depth knowledge, attentiveness and the ability to quickly navigate professional information.The second stage was focused on practice and modeling of real medical situations. The program included a captain's competition, tasks for working in extreme conditions, practical cases, an intellectual game and a block dedicated to pharmacological literacy. Participants analyzed complex clinical cases, made diagnoses and justified the choice of treatment tactics.The KRSU team demonstrated a high level of training, confident application of theoretical knowledge in practice and developed clinical thinking. Students showed an ability for comprehensive analysis of medical situations, reasoned decision-making and effective teamwork.
