KRSU students participated in the Central Asian Jessup Summer School in Tashkent from 5 to 13 August 2024

From 5 to 13 August 2024, students of the Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University — Saparov Belek, Kubanychbekov Ularbek, Abolfazl Arab and Asilbekova Altynai — took part in the Central Asian Jessup Summer School, which was held in Tashkent. The event brought together more than 50 students from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.

During the summer school, participants learned the basics of public international law, mastering the valuable knowledge and skills necessary to participate in one of the most prestigious international law competitions named after F. Jessup.

The students successfully dealt with the decision of the fictional case and tried themselves as plaintiffs and defendants in simulating the process at the International Court of Justice.
