KRSU students took part in an event to preserve the memory of the siege of Leningrad

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) took part in an event dedicated to preserving the memory of the siege of Leningrad. As part of the video bridge "Siege of Leningrad: Remember, not just know," organized at the State Memorial Museum of the Defense and Siege of Leningrad, students discussed the importance of preserving and passing on historical memory to younger generations.

At the event, plans were presented for the publication of a second collection about the siege of Leningrad, and also talked about the work of the Museum of the Siege of Leningrad named after A. Kutanova in Bishkek. Participants also discussed the prospects for cooperation between universities and museums to continue educational projects aimed at preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.

Youth representatives emphasized the importance of involving students in initiatives aimed at preserving historical memory and expressed their readiness to take an active part in such projects and events in the future.
