KRSU students took part in the first day of the XXXIV Christmas educational readings «Enlightenment and morality: personality formation and challenges of the time»
On December 4, the first day of a large-scale forum took place, which annually brings together experts, clergy, teachers, public figures and youth from different regions.
Theme of the day — «Volunteering as a path to spiritual growth».
KRSU was worthily presented at the panel discussion «Leadership in Volunteering: How to Inspire and Unite», where our students — leaders of the largest student associations of the university spoke:
• Maxim Belov, Chairman of PPOO «Young»;
• Vladislav Rudy, head of the public association «Adapters»;
• Alana Beisembaeva, commander of the student detachment headquarters «Unity».
Our members told the audience about:
— the areas of its activities and the unique specifics of the work of each association;
— projects implemented by KRSU students on a volunteer basis;
— practices for supporting and motivating volunteers;
— the role of youth leadership in shaping the values of responsibility, service and mutual assistance.
Vladislav Rudy noted that each participant «of Adapters» — is a volunteer who accompanies freshmen and creates an atmosphere of support.
Maxim Belov spoke about student initiatives that are based on the principle «students for students» and rely on the voluntary participation of activists.
Alana Beisembaeva presented the experience of the student team «Unity», where the most important values are discipline, teamwork and social usefulness.
Our guys also emphasized the contribution of the «Rays of Good» project, presenting initiatives aimed at charitable and social support.
Participation of KRSU in the Christmas readings — is an opportunity to present the university on a large interregional platform, share experiences and become part of an important conversation about the role of volunteering in modern society.
