KRSU students took part in a poetry evening dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Alykul Osmonov

Philology students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University from groups GF-1-23 and GF-2-23 took part in a poetry evening «My Land — Land of Poetry», dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov.

The event took place in the city library №1 named after Aitmatov’s book and brought together connoisseurs of the poetic word, literary scholars, students and teachers.

During the evening, KRSU students presented the works of Alykul Osmonov in different languages, demonstrating that real poetry knows no linguistic or cultural boundaries. The poet's sincere and soulful lines sounded in a new way, reminding everyone that poetry — is the voice of the heart.
