KRSU students took part in the II Media School «Eurasia»
The opening took place in the concert hall of the Bishkek State University named after K. Karasaev second Media School «Eurasia», organized to promote the development of media literacy, exchange professional experience and support young professionals.
Participated in the event students of the Department of International Journalism of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, as well as young journalists and media specialists from other universities in the country.
The program included master classes, lectures and sessions in «question and answer» format.
One of the key topics of discussion was misinformation on social media and the impact of artificial intelligence on news content <TAG1>according to the speakers, today distortion of news using AI is observed in 45% of cases.
The media school brought together well-known Kyrgyz and Russian journalists, communications experts and media managers such as Evgeny Popov, Dmitry Leontyev and Egor Piskunov, who shared practical advice on source work, fact-checking and professional ethics as a journalist.
The participation of KRSU students in the media school became an opportunity not only to develop practical skills, but also to establish professional connections with representatives of leading media in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The project aims to strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and the media industry, and also to form a new generation of journalists capable of working responsibly, critically and professionally.
