KRSU students are winners of the International Chinese Language Competition
On May 23, 2025, at the Bishkek Humanitarian University named after. K. Karasaev hosted the 24th International Oratory Competition «Chinese Language — Bridge of Friendship». This annual event, organized by the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the Confucius Institute at BSU, traditionally brings together the most talented students from all over the country.
This year, 13 participants from Osh, Jalal-Abad regions and the city of Bishkek competed for the title of the best experts in the Chinese language, culture and traditions of China.
The competition took place in two stages. In the first round, participants gave presentations on the culture, traditions, national cuisine and attractions of China, and also answered questions about the history and culture of the country. The second round was dedicated to creative performances reflecting elements of traditional Chinese art.
Our university was worthily represented by students of the Institute of World Civilizations and Languages KRSU - Daria Manova and Akylay Nurdinova. At the end of the competition, they took honorary second and third places, respectively.
Their achievements highlight the high level of training of KRSU students and contribute to the development of interest in the Chinese language, as well as strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the youth of Kyrgyzstan and China.
