KRSU students completed their studies at SPbPU under the academic mobility program
Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University were trained at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University under the academic mobility program.
The training took place on the basis of the Higher School «Technosphere Safety» of the host university and became part of the systematic work of universities to develop international educational cooperation.
The program participants were 3rd year undergraduate and 2nd year master's students in the «Technosphere Safety» direction of the Department of Ecology and Emergency Protection KRSU. Bachelors mastered the disciplines of the fifth semester, master's students — of the third. During the semester, they studied specialized subjects, took practical and laboratory classes, and also became acquainted with modern approaches to organizing the educational process and scientific activities.
Upon returning to Bishkek, students met with teachers of the department and head Eric Mambetov. Program participants presented reports on the courses completed, shared their academic and practical experience, and discussed new methods and technologies used at the Russian university.
The learning outcomes will be fully credited to KRSU's educational programs, allowing students to continue their studies without wasting their teaching time.
Participation in the academic mobility program helps expand the professional competencies of future specialists in the field of technosphere safety, develop work skills in the interuniversity and international environment and increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
Cooperation between the two universities is developing on an ongoing basis and opens up additional opportunities for students to study, do research internships and exchange experiences.
