KRSU students became finalists of the competition «For Russian!»
In Moscow, at the Faculty of Philology of the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and finalists of the competition «Volunteer Movement “For Russian!”» took place. This event was the culmination of an educational intensive «Volunteer School», held from October 22 to 24. As part of the intensive, more than 50 finalists who successfully passed two stages of the competition received the opportunity to undergo training.
The finalists of the competition were students of Russian universities, as well as representatives of the Russian-Armenian University, the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B.N. Yeltsin (KRSU) and Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University. KRSU was represented at the ceremony by third-year philology students — Sofia Kononova, Ekaterina Ovsyannikova and Tatyana Schumacher.
«For me, the Intensive was interesting and very useful precisely in terms of increasing my own knowledge and skill. It was the best idea to participate in this Russian language competition. I would like to express my gratitude to the Department of Russian Philology for attracting us to participate in the competition «For Russian!» and support for our creative plans!», - noted Ekaterina Ovsyannikova.
«Participation in the competition gave me the opportunity to improve my professional skills, meet like-minded people and show my strengths. The "Volunteer School" intensive provided great motivation for the spread of the Russian language in our country. "Thank you to the teachers of the Department of Russian Philology for encouraging us to participate in the competition «For Russian!», and we were lucky enough to reach the final stage in Moscow!»," she shared her impressions Kononova Sofia.
The project is aimed at creating a volunteer movement abroad that promotes the spread of the Russian language, as well as at forming professional and cultural communities focused on the study and promotion of Russian cultural and scientific heritage. As part of the intensive, events and master classes were held for participants on the personal development and professional skills of volunteers. The classes were conducted by leading Russian teachers.
