KRSU students became prize-winners of the international competition «Living Latin»

First-year students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the IV International Literary Competition «Living Latin», which was held on April 6, 2026 in Izhevsk.The competition brought together representatives of 43 medical and pharmaceutical universities from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This year's theme was «Summum bonum medicinae sanitas» — «The highest good of medicine — health». A total of 109 works were submitted to the competition, while only 18 were awarded prizes.KRSU was represented at the competition by five students from study programs «General Medicine» and «Dental Science», who prepared three competition entries.As a result of the competition, university students took prizes: four participants were awarded III degree diplomas, another student received a certificate of participation.Third degree diplomas were awarded to Bekzat Makanbaev and Aikanysh Tagaybekova (group SD-7-25), studying under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare of the Faculty of Medicine Baktygul Alkeshova.Also, Radmir Abinov (LD-12-25 group) and Danil Chumakov (LD-4-25 group), trained under the guidance of the department’s senior teacher Dilfuza Urkunchieva, received III degree diplomas.Muhammadrizo Abdugaparov (group LD-16-25) was awarded a participant certificate.The participation and results of KRSU students confirm the high level of training of future medical specialists, as well as their involvement in the international scientific and educational space.
