KRSU students were among the best at the CIS Environmental Olympiad

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University became prize-winners of the XV International Environmental Olympiad of universities in the CIS countries, held online in the Republic of Belarus.44 teams from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the intellectual competition. The Olympics brought together more than 220 students, as well as scientific supervisors, experts and organizers.The program included four competitive stages: a team calling card, a theoretical tour, a creative essay competition and a practical tour. Participants worked on pressing environmental issues, including the development of electric transport and the introduction of environmental solutions into modern residential development.KRSU was represented at the Olympiad by students of the Department of Ecology and Protection in Emergency Situations: Victoria Lagunova, Nurtenir Amanov, Adil Dzholdoshaliev, Ayana Kudaibergenova and Ilham Temirkanov. The team leader was the head of the Department of Ecology and Emergency Situations, Eric Mambetov.At the end of the Olympiad, the KRSU team was awarded a II degree diploma in the theoretical round and a III degree diploma in the practical round.Students also showed good results in individual tests. Victoria Lagunova and Nurtenir Amanov received third-degree diplomas in the personal competition of the theoretical round, and Adil Dzholdoshaliev and Ilham Temirkanov became prize-winners of a creative essay competition.All team members were awarded certificates, and team leader Eric Mambetov was thanked for preparing students for the international Olympiad.
