"Judicial diplomacy: KRSU and the EAEU Court enter into a cooperation agreement."
During the visit of a delegation of judges of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), important aspects of cooperation between the university and the EAEU Court were discussed.
Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov, during a meeting with representatives of the international delegation, noted: «We recognize that modern universities must combine business, education and science, and also take into account the commercial aspects of all processes. Today we strive for a 4.0 university format that focuses on innovation and digital transformation.
In turn, members of the delegation expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the need for the practice of such visits by judges or delegations. Over ten years, a wealth of knowledge has been accumulated, and interaction between us will help improve integration mechanisms. «We see this visit as an opportunity for professional communication with colleagues. We –organizations that must meet a high level, and our specialists have serious legal training, which we will share, including with students of your university» - emphasized EEA judge Alexey Dronov.
During the meeting, participants supported the idea of creating an international network where friends of the court and universities would exchange experience and knowledge. The rector of KRSU also expressed his readiness to develop partnerships with universities of the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of interaction with courts at the international level, the implementation of unified educational programs and training of personnel for positions in courts, commissions and government bodies.
Fomin-Nilov noted: «We discussed the issue of internships for our students with you. The competitive selection procedure and the internship institute can be useful in this context. We do not limit ourselves to an exchange of views, but support our cooperation with documents. We call for uniting lawyers and universities, including experts from different countries.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement. In addition, the judges will give open lectures at KRSU.
