Bright memory
On September 27, 2025, at the age of 79, Gennady Aleksandrovich Desyatkov — Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the International Academy of Informatization (g. Moscow) and the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education (city. Moscow), an excellent student of public education of the Kyrgyz Republic, the first head of the Department of Information and Computing Technologies of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Born on March 5, 1947, graduated from the Moscow Energy Institute.
Gennady Aleksandrovich — well-known specialist in the field of mathematical and computer modeling of low-temperature plasma. He developed a number of theoretical models describing thermophysical and plasma chemical processes in gas electric discharges of both fundamental and applied importance.
Three PhD theses were defended under his supervision.
He published more than 120 scientific papers, including 7 monographs, as well as 7 inventions of the USSR and 2 certificates of Kyrgyzpatent for computer software products.
Key developments include:
• device for applying powder coatings by pulse discharge (A.s. USSR № 1365449, 1984);
• a series of plasma igniters and technical solutions in demand in the scientific and applied field.
Gennady Aleksandrovich stood at the origins of the digitalization of the university environment: it was under his leadership that an automated Internet system for holding the Kyrgyzstan quarterfinal of the student world programming championship was created.
His contribution to the development of domestic science and higher education cannot be overestimated. He was not only an outstanding scientist, but also a wise mentor who devoted his life to training a new generation of specialists.
The staff of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University expresses deep condolences to the family and friends of Gennady Alexandrovich.
The memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of colleagues, students and everyone who had the good fortune to work and study under his leadership.
