Bright memory. Evgeny Nikolaevich Somov

On June 11, 2025, Evgeniy Nikolaevich Somov, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, passed away.

He began working at KRSU in 2007, having managed to enrich the potential of the management department with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of production, investing all his knowledge and experience (2000 – 2004 JSC «Zhanar»: deputy technical director, technical director of the enterprise; 2004 – 2005 JSC «Electrical engineer» Deputy Head of PDO; 2005 – 2007 LLC «Deskom»: Deputy Director for Marketing and Production Preparation) in student development.

The constant head of the profile «Production Management», the initiator of the creation of an up-to-date program «Management of business processes of production», Evgeniy Nikolaevich «was on fire» at work, tried to keep up with the times, constantly taking part in advanced training courses on modern management topics.

He defended his PhD thesis on the topic «Economic foundations of material and technical modernization of the agro-industrial complex (using the example of the Kyrgyz Republic»)» in 2012, and worked on his doctorate.

Author of a large number of scientific publications, monographs, textbooks and teaching aids. Owner mate «100 years of the Red Army». Repeatedly awarded with certificates of honor from KRSU «For long-term, conscientious work, high professionalism, worthy contribution to the development and prosperity of the university». In April 2025, he again received a certificate «For active scientific and innovative activities».
