Bright memory. Sakmamatov Toolukbek Mamytovich

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that on January 25, 2025, an outstanding doctor, teacher, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department of hospital surgery KRSU, head of the department of surgical gastroenterology and endocrinology of the National Hospital, Excellent student of healthcare of the Kyrgyz Republic Sakmamatov Toolukbek Mamytovich passed away.

Born on August 22, 1968 in the village of Kolduk, Osh region. In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of KSMI, then completed an internship in surgery. His professional activities covered work in intensive care, purulent surgery and gastroendocrinology. Since 2012, he has headed the department of surgical gastroenterology and endocrinology at the National Hospital.

In 2008, he defended his PhD thesis, devoting scientific research to improving surgical methods. Author of many scientific papers and innovative techniques, including the method he developed to stop diffuse bleeding during strumectomy. For his contribution to medicine he was awarded the badge «Salamattyk saktoonun kyzmatkeri».

Sakmamatov Toolukbek Mamytovich trained more than one generation of doctors and was devoted to his profession and patients. His contribution to Kyrgyzstan's healthcare is invaluable. The bright memory of him will forever remain in the hearts of colleagues, students and everyone he helped.
