Dance through time: Victory Waltz in KRSU

On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a patriotic flash mob took place at the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, bringing together students, teachers and guests as a sign of respect for the feat of the Soviet people.

The event opened with a reading of poetry and singing songs from the war years. The familiar lines from «Katyusha», «Dark Night», «Dusky Woman» and «Month of May» — songs that preserve the pain of loss and the joy of the long-awaited Victory were heard.

The culmination of the flash mob was a waltz to the composition «May Waltz» performed by Yaroslav Evdokimov. 24 pairs of students in costumes stylized as the 1940s swirled on the site in front of the university. The dance brought to life the images of the spring of 1945 and conveyed the atmosphere of a jubilant world that had returned after many years of war.

The flash mob became not just part of commemorative events, but also a living reminder of how important historical memory is. It became a symbol of gratitude to the generation of winners and inspired participants to preserve and respect the great past of our country.
