Total dictation in KRSU

The annual cultural and educational event "Total Dictation" was held in 41 countries, including Kyrgyzstan.

In Bishkek, the event took place in the main building of KRSU. The dictation was read by Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov and Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, actress of the Russian Drama Theater Olga Zhiguleva. The author of the dictation text this year was the Russian writer Anna Matveeva.

"Total dictation" — an annual event, the purpose of which is — to create interest in learning the Russian language and increase the literacy of its speakers. The first "Total Dictation" was held in 2004 by students of the Faculty of Humanities of Novosibirsk State University.
Over the past 20 years, the event has acquired a worldwide scale: it is organized by the Total Dictation Foundation, and is carried out by activists and volunteers in different cities of the world. Hundreds of thousands of people write dictations every year.
