KRSU scientists discussed the development of chemical education with colleagues from the CIS countries

Representatives of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in the VII All-Russian meeting of heads of departments of organic chemistry and related specialties, which was held at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The venue was the Faculty of Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences of the university.KRSU was represented at the forum by the head of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine Natalya Matyushchenko and Associate Professor of the Department Inna Ibraeva. The meeting was attended by representatives of leading universities, scientific organizations and the expert community of Russia and the CIS countries.During the meetings, participants discussed current issues in the development of chemical education, features of teaching organic chemistry and related disciplines at universities, as well as problems of organizing scientific research, material, technical and instrument support for the educational process.Particular attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the field of training medical and natural science specialists. Representatives of KRSU made a report «Analysis of factors influencing the success of biochemistry training at the Faculty of Medicine of KRSU», which presented the results of a study of the educational process and approaches to increasing the efficiency of student training.Participation in the international professional meeting allowed KRSU teachers to discuss current trends in the development of chemical education, strengthen academic ties with colleagues from universities in Russia and the CIS countries, and also present the university’s experience in teaching biochemistry and medical disciplines.
