The Academic Council of KRSU elected teachers to fill vacant positions

A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. N. Yeltsin. The key issue on the agenda was the consideration of candidates to fill vacant positions of teaching staff.

A total of 135 candidates of teachers were submitted to the competition, who passed all stages of the competitive selection, which was held from May 21 to June 10, 2025. The competition had strict qualification requirements depending on the positions applied for, from teacher to professor to department head.

Based on the results of a secret ballot, in which 52 members of the Academic Council took part, 122 teachers were approved. An employment contract will be concluded with each of them for a period of three years.

Acting Rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of this process for the future of the university:

«Competition for filling positions — this is not just a procedure, it is an important tool for ensuring the academic quality and strategic development of the university. We rely on professionalism, scientific potential and the involvement of each teacher in the educational process».

The university management emphasizes that the personnel policy of KRSU is aimed at updating and strengthening the teaching staff, taking into account modern challenges in the field of education and science.
