Professor of KRSU Valentina Alekseevna Voropaeva has passed away

It is with deep regret that we announce that Valentina Alekseevna Voropaeva — Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, outstanding researcher of history and culture, has passed away.Valentina Alekseevna was a famous scientist, the author of numerous scientific works, monographs and publications devoted to the history and culture of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz-Russian cultural ties and the heritage of great cultural figures. A special place in her scientific activity was occupied by research dedicated to Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin and the development of Russian culture in Kyrgyzstan.She is the author of a number of significant monographs, including «On the Path of Time», «Russian ascetics in the cultural history of Kyrgyzstan», «Pushkin in Kyrgyzstan», «A.S. Pushkin and the ascetics of culture in periodicals», «In search of a single cultural space», «Ascetics of the culture of Kyrgyzstan during the Great Patriotic War». Valentina Alekseevna was also a co-author of textbooks and teaching aids on the history of Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz-Russian relations and cultural studies, and a compiler of anthologies on the history and diplomacy of Kyrgyzstan.Her many years of scientific and pedagogical work were awarded high awards. Valentina Alekseevna — laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology, laureate of the International Scientific Prize named after E.I. Roerich, excellent student of public education of the Kyrgyz Republic. She was awarded the state award of the Russian Federation — medal A.S. Pushkin, as well as a medal «For services to the university» and a number of other awards.Valentina Alekseevna was not only an outstanding scientist, but also a person of high culture, sincerely devoted to the cause of science and education. She made a huge contribution to the development of humanities, strengthening cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia and educating new generations of researchers.The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University expresses deep condolences to the family, friends, colleagues and students of Valentina Alekseevna. The bright memory of her will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and worked next to her.Farewell to Valentina Alekseevna Voropaeva will take place on March 7 at 10:30 at the morgue on Donetskaya Street.
