An analytical Center for the Study of International Processes in Greater Eurasia will appear in Bishkek
The Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin (KRSU) will open the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Multilateral Cooperation of Greater Eurasia in early 2024. The focus of the Center's specialists will be on studying the interaction of Central Asian countries with Russia and the People's Republic of China (PRC). The parties signed a corresponding agreement in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
Ceremonial events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B. Yeltsin took place in Bishkek. Over the years of its history, KRSU has made a significant contribution to the development of the economy of Kyrgyzstan and contributed to the development of partnerships with Russia. The festive events were attended by the rectors of key universities in our country, as well as the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.

On October 12, as part of the ceremonial events, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Far Eastern Federal University and KRSU. The parties agreed to open a Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Multilateral Cooperation, whose specialists will study integration processes in the Greater Eurasian space in order to develop proposals and recommendations in the context of the prospects for connecting the Eurasian Economic Union and the initiative «Belt and Path» and creating a Greater Eurasian Partnership.

The teaching staff of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will undergo internships and improve their qualifications at FEFU.
