A conference dedicated to the memory of KRSU associate professor Kashaf Abdullin was held in Bishkek
On April 26, a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent medical historian, teacher and scientist – Kashaf Dzhumaevich Abdullin was held at the Department of Public Health and Healthcare KRSU.
The event was attended by honored scientists who stood at the origins of the healthcare organization of Kyrgyzstan – Head. Department of Public Health and Health Care KRSU Naken Kasiev, Honored Doctor and Labor Veteran Asan Dzhailobaev, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Health Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic Naken Saaliev, Dean of the Medical Faculty KRSU Roza Karaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology Marta Dikambaeva, Head. Department of Hygiene KRSU Sabyrkul Borsokbaeva, as well as department employees, close relatives and students.
At the conference, participants were heard reports on the hero of the day, his merits and contribution to healthcare in Kyrgyzstan.
Kashaf Abdullin (1933-2010) – first head of department public health and healthcare KRSU, Honored Health Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor. Author of more than 137 scientific publications, 11 textbooks, many methodological recommendations, supervisor of 3 candidate dissertations. He took an active part in the social life of the faculty, had good artistic taste and the gift of a speaker, played the accordion and he performed at amateur concerts.
The main directions of his scientific activity were issues of public health of the population, the history of medicine and healthcare of the Kyrgyz Republic and world medicine, including the contribution of Russian scientists to the formation and development of healthcare and higher medical education in Kyrgyzstan.
A bright, handsome, very gifted man, Kashaf Dzhumaevich was a real teacher-educator, a senior friend and advisor to students. His classes and lectures often turned into lessons not only in professionalism, but also in spirituality, morality, and culture.
