Celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of KRSU have started in Bishkek
October 11, on the first day of celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin turned around on the site in front of the main building of the university colorful exhibition «Slavic is more than a university».
It was opened by acting of the first vice-rector of KRSU German Lotsev and sfu Rector Maxim Rumyantsev, cutting the symbolic red ribbon.
A historical excursion for numerous guests of the holiday was conducted by acting, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov.
The large-scale exhibition introduced visitors to the history of creation, the achievements of KRSU over 30 years of existence, the scientific and educational activities of 7 faculties, and the pride of the university – famous scientists and teachers.
In the hall on the second floor, guests were presented with works submitted for the concept design competition for the new KRSU campus.
Then, in the large assembly hall, the participants of the celebration were presented with a film about the history of KRSU «30 years on the path of creation», created jointly by employees of Siberian Federal University and KRSU, an information publication «Slavic is more than a university» – a book about the people who stood at the origins of the creation of the university two states, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, about employees and teachers who invest all their efforts in the development and prosperity of KRSU.
SFU Rector Maxim Rumyantsev noted that the most important advantage of the film is that it is not only about history, but also about the future of KRSU.
The day ended with a meeting of representatives of Slavic universities on the topic «Development of international youth analytical cooperation».
They take part in the ceremonial events, which will last until October 13 inclusive representatives of government authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, heads and students of partner universities and Slavic universities, veterans of KRSU.
