KRSU is preparing the premiere of the play «Notes of a Doctor» based on the work of Mikhail Bulgakov

Rehearsals for the play «Notes of a Doctor», based on the series of stories by Mikhail Bulgakov «Notes of a Young Doctor», have begun at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The production is prepared by the university theater group, in which students from different faculties participate.

The director and author of the dramatization was Anna Shmyrina. The performance is dedicated to the profession of a doctor — one of the most difficult and responsible. It is based on the story of a young doctor who, after graduating from medical school, ends up working in a rural hospital and is faced with a harsh reality: lack of experience, lack of support, difficult living conditions and the constant need to make decisions on which a person’s life depends.

According to the director, the main goal of the production is to show how a true doctor is born through professional and personal trials. It is practice, daily overcoming fear and uncertainty, responsibility for patients that become for the hero a real school of life, leading to professional development and awareness of his calling.

Rehearsals take place in the university assembly hall. The organizers invite everyone to support the troupe and witness this story.
