Advisor to the rector – special representative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science has been appointed to KRSU
For the first time in history, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation appointed a special representative on issues of Russian-national (joint) universities. This was Nikolai Yuryevich Kudryavtsev, who will also combine the new position with work at the Kyrgyz-Russian (Slavic) University named after B.N. Yeltsin as an adviser to the rector.
The order of appointment was signed by the head of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov. Deputy Minister Konstantin Mogilevsky outlined the key tasks for the new special representative and presented him with the Minister’s Gratitude for his contribution to the development of international cooperation.
Nikolai Yuryevich Kudryavtsev graduated from the Historical and Archival Institute of the Russian State Humanitarian University and has significant experience working in the system of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2023, he has served as Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. Russian-national universities in Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan today teach more than 20 thousand students. In 2023, the amount of funding for their activities amounted to about 1.8 billion rubles. The new post of Special Representative is intended to strengthen the coordination of the work of such universities and contribute to their further development.
The appointment of Nikolai Kudryavtsev to the post of adviser to the rector of KRSU emphasizes the importance of the university as one of the leading educational centers in the region and strengthens Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in the field of science and education.
