KRSU discussed regional security problems in Central Asian countries

On October 4, a round table «Regional security problems in the countries of Central Asia» was held in the conference hall of the main building of KRSU. The event was organized by the OF «Oy-Pikir» with the assistance of the A. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund.

The meeting took place within the framework of the international program «Dialogue «Russia – Central Asian countries», the purpose of which is to strengthen Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation on Eurasian integration, further develop strategic partnership against the backdrop of challenges to Eurasian security.

The round table was attended by Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic M. Imankulov, representatives of the Gorchakov Foundation, experts, employees of KRSU and students of the Faculty of International Relations.

The participants discussed measures to reduce the level of threats to the states of Central Asia, economic security as a mechanism for countering internal and external threats, the role of the state in countering information threats, and other issues.
