A meeting was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University dedicated to the development of the design and functionality of the new official portal of the KRSU. The work is being carried out as part of the modernization of the university’s digital infrastructure and is being implemented by state order by specialists from Tyumen State University.
The new site will become a key part of the university’s digital ecosystem and will provide integration with 1C:Smart University systems, personnel records, electronic document management and other services. It is planned that the updated portal will increase the productivity, reliability and convenience of digital services for students, teachers and staff.
Particular attention is paid to the creation of personal accounts. Students will be able to track tuition fees, schedules and academic performance. Teachers will have their own office with access to class schedules and tools for monitoring the educational process. An important innovation will be a single section «Procurement», where users will be able to submit documents directly through the website and track the history of applications.
KRSU Rector Sergei Volkov emphasized that modernization should simplify processes and make the university environment as transparent and convenient as possible:
«I would like students to see all their payments, teachers to have personal accounts, and purchases to become transparent and convenient. It is important that the site provides both up-to-date news feeds and information about our partners».
At the meeting, they also discussed the possibility of KRSU employees completing an internship in October at Tyumen State University. During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with the work of the unified dean's office, the processes of forming curricula, the dispatch system and scheduling. Special attention will be paid to studying the capabilities of 1C, which is used at Tyumen State University and can be adapted for KRSU.
Other functions of the future portal include — news feed of partner media, integration of employee pay slips, a platform for scientific projects and roadmaps, as well as electronic services for personnel orders and contracts.
As a result of the meeting, the concept of the site was approved and proposals were made to finalize the technical specifications. Development will start in the fall of 2025, the launch of the new portal is scheduled for early 2026
