KRSU discussed the development of curatorial activities and student policy
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a working meeting was held between the Vice-Rector for Youth and Information Policy Stanislav Kulikov and the Head of the Youth Policy Department Danila Dyachenko with the curators of academic groups and deputy deans of the Faculty of Law.
The meeting was devoted to the functioning of the Council for Educational Work and Youth Policy, created at the university in January 2025.
Participants paid special attention to the activities of curators of first-year academic groups, analysis of group passports, issues of scholarships and financial support for students. In particular, the mechanisms of compensation payments for students living outside Bishkek were discussed, as well as the procedure for awarding a personalized scholarship KRSU for achievements in educational, scientific, sports, cultural, creative and social activities.
A separate block was considered the election of heads of academic groups, the work of a sports club and the organization of physical education classes, which traditionally play an important role in the formation of an active student environment.
A landmark event of the upcoming academic year will be the competition for the best student curator, which will be held for the first time in 32 years at KRSU based on the results of the first semester. The initiative aims to identify and support the most effective teacher mentors who are introducing new approaches to working with students and contributing to strengthening curatorial activities.
