KRSU honored the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War

A commemorative event dedicated to the victims of the Great Patriotic War was held at the Faculty of Humanities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The organizer was the Department of Theory and Practice of the English Language and Intercultural Communication.First and second year students participated. The program included creative performances: participants performed songs from the war years and read poems dedicated to the feat and memory of the victims.A minute of silence occupied a special place in the program. Those present paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the war, paying tribute to their feat and the significance of the Victory for subsequent generations.The event ended with a joint performance of the song «Victory Day», which is traditionally perceived as a symbol of courage, perseverance and historical memory.The closing speech was made by the head of the department O.Yu. Shubina. She emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory, respect for the feat of ancestors and passing on these values to young people.The event took place in a solemn atmosphere and was aimed at developing a respectful attitude towards history among students and strengthening the continuity of generations.
