Academician Askar Kakeev was presented at KRSU «Selected Works»
On November 10, in honor of the celebration of Science Day of Kyrgyzstan, a presentation of a 2-volume collection of works by Academician Askar Chukutaevich Kakeev «Selected Works» was held in the conference hall of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
«Selected works» of the outstanding Russian philosopher reflect the main directions of his scientific interests and research over the years on current problems of socio-political and philosophical thought in Kyrgyzstan, game knowledge of the world and national games of the Kyrgyz, features of the formation of a scientific and materialistic view and the establishment of Marxist-Leninist ideology. The publication presents the worldview of legendary Kyrgyz thinkers, akyn educators, prominent political and public figures of the 20-30s of the twentieth century, as well as the main problems and areas of activity of philosophers of Kyrgyzstan from the 50s of the twentieth century to the present.
Volume 1 «of Selected Works» includes works published in Kyrgyz, such as: «Matter and Consciousness» (1969), «The National Ordo Game –an example of the ancient Kyrgyz state» (2003), «Philosophy of the Akyns of the Enlighteners» (2017), «Formation of Scientific Materialistic Views» (2020).
Volume 2 «of Selected Works» includes works published in Russian: «Philosophical Thought in Kyrgyzstan: Search and Problems» (1995), «History of Philosophical Science in Kyrgyzstan» (2012), «Game Knowledge of the World» (2018), published at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University as part of the series «Classic University Textbook».
The publication is addressed to scientists, graduate students, undergraduates, philosophy students and other humanities specialties, as well as a wide range of readers interested in the problems of philosophical science in Kyrgyzstan.
The presentation was attended by representatives of the scientific community, the state apparatus of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as fellow academicians, like-minded people, graduate students, doctoral students and students of Askar Chukutaevich Kakeev. Participants noted the invaluable contribution of Academician A.Ch. Kakeev before science and the state, his contribution to the history of Kyrgyz socio-political and philosophical thought, as well as to the study of the history of the formation of Kyrgyz statehood, was especially emphasized.
