KRSU will host a presentation of the exhibition for International Mother Language Day

February 20, 2026 at 14:00 at the Faculty of Humanities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin will host a presentation of a historical and documentary exhibition «I entered the Kyrgyz language on purpose» dedicated to International Mother Language Day.The exhibition is dedicated to the life and scientific heritage of the outstanding Turkologist and lexicographer Konstantin Yudakhin — author of the first Kyrgyz-Russian dictionary, which played a significant role in the development of linguistic and cultural ties between the Kyrgyz and Russian peoples.Visitors will be presented with archival materials, documents and research revealing the scientist’s contribution to the study of Turkic languages, the formation of lexicography and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage.The organizers are the Department of Russian Philology and the Center for Historical and Cultural Heritage. As a result of the event, the virtual version of the exhibition will be transferred to partner universities for further use in educational and outreach work.
