KRSU hosted the «IT Kyrgyzstan Cup»
The final stage of the 8th Olympiad «IT Cup of Kyrgyzstan» took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Based on the results, the winners – of the most talented young programmers in the country were announced. The event was organized by the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Federation of Sports Programming of the Kyrgyz Republic.
More than 700 schoolchildren and students from all over the country participated in the qualifying rounds, which took place on April 6 and 21. Of these, the 106 best participants in three divisions - Senior, Junior, Students, as well as in a separate category for girls (Girls), reached the final, which took place in KRSU.
The award ceremony, held in the main building of the university, was attended by representatives of the country's leading technology companies and organizations, presenting diplomas and valuable prizes to the winners.
The winners of the Senior division received advantages when entering the "Software Engineering" direction at KRSU and an invitation to enter without entrance tests at the National Research University Higher School of Economics. More than 50 Olympiad participants were awarded prizes.

- In the Senior division – Aidarbekov Alikhan Mirlanovich (Muratbek Subakozhoev Naryn school)
- In the Junior division - Bobrus Yan Timurovich (NOOF School Gazprom Kyrgyzstan)
- In the Girls category - Akzholtoeva Aiperi Aibekovna (Issyk-Kul Women's Lyceum named after Z. Bektenov).
KRSU students took 4 places out of 12 prize money in the Students division.
