KRSU hosted a lecture on modern approaches to teaching Russian language and literature
A lecture was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the topic «Current trends in teaching the Russian language and Russian literature in the 21st century: targets and educational technologies».The participants were teachers of Russian language and literature from educational institutions in Bishkek and the Chui region, as well as students studying in this area. The lecture was given by Sergei Petukhov — Head of the Department of Philological and Social and Humanitarian Education of the Leningrad Regional Institute for Educational Development.During the meeting, modern approaches to teaching literature and issues of developing reader understanding were discussed. Particular attention was paid to what it means «to understand» a work of art, how the dialogue between the text and the reader is built, as well as the role of fiction in shaping the worldview.Key concepts related to the concept «of mankurt», ideas of dialogue as a philosophical category, as well as polyphony in the work of Fyodor Dostoevsky — as a clash of equal consciousnesses and «voices that do not fall silent» were discussed. In this context, Mikhail Bakhtin's approaches and modern interpretations of literary analysis were touched upon.The lecture has become a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and discussion of current methods of teaching the Russian language and literature in the modern educational environment.
