KRSU hosted an International Conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory: the contribution of the peoples of the union republics to the defeat of fascism
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted an International Scientific and Practical Conference, organized with the support of the Coordination Council of the International Union «Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of the CIS». The conference was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the historical victory over fascism and had the theme: «Contribution of the peoples of the union republics to the victory of the Soviet people».
During the event, the role and importance of the peoples of the union republics in the Great Patriotic War was discussed, issues of preserving historical memory and the importance of passing on experience to the younger generation were raised. The conference was attended by representatives of veteran organizations, students and teachers of KRSU, as well as public figures.
At the meeting, veterans and participants were awarded memorable gifts and medals for their invaluable contribution to the victory and active participation in the patriotic education of youth.

Such meetings help strengthen the continuity of generations and inspire young people to study history in order to preserve the memory of the Great Victory», — noted the rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov.
KRSU students were especially active at the event, helping to organize the conference and conducting dialogue with veterans, asking questions and participating in discussions. Such initiatives form among the younger generation an understanding of the significance of historical events and responsibility for preserving heritage.
