A meeting of students with representatives of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh was held at KRSU

An expert meeting of students with employees of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event was initiated by the Department of International Journalism of the Faculty of International Relations.The meeting was attended by students of the «International Journalism» direction, as well as students of other educational programs of the faculty, including representatives of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies.The focus was on the practical aspects of the work of parliamentary structures. Participants were told about the role of the press service in ensuring interaction between the Jogorku Kenesh and public and socio-political institutions, the features of information support for the activities of committees, as well as the specifics of communication between government bodies and religious organizations and local governments.An employee of the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, assistant to the deputy Myrzayym Sagynbekova, as well as representatives of the parliamentary apparatus shared their practical experience of working with students.Such meetings are part of the department’s systematic work to develop practice-oriented learning. Interaction with the press service of parliament is regular and includes the participation of students in on-site events, as well as master classes with the participation of current specialists.The event is aimed at improving the professional training of students and getting acquainted with the real mechanisms of work of state institutions.
