KRSU hosted events dedicated to Epic Day «Manas»

In order to study and popularize the epic «Manas», a number of competitive, creative events, educational and methodological seminars, quizzes, open lessons and debates were held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University on the role and significance of the epic in the material and spiritual culture of the Kyrgyz people.

The Faculty of Humanities organized and held a competition of creative and student works among 2nd year students in the Visual Communications category. The poster competition was held on the theme «Manas - national unity and solidarity». More than 20 student works made using the collage technique were submitted to the competition.

The Department of History and Theory of Literature and the Department of Russian Language held a seminar «the epic Manas in the social and scientific life of Kyrgyzstan. Methodology for studying and teaching the Manas epic at KRSU».

Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies named after. Academician A.Ch. Kakeeva conducts an open lesson on the discipline «Mythology and Epic Studies» on the topic «Religious studies analysis of the epic «Manas»».

The Faculty of Economics conducted a quiz «Content and ideological and aesthetic basis of the Manas epic». The Faculty of Law organized a debate «Epic Manas and modernity» and a practical seminar dedicated to the day of the Epic «Manas».
