Rudov Readings were held at KRSU
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University hosted an International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the contribution of Mikhail Aleksandrovich Rudov to the development of literature and philology, as well as a discussion of current issues of Russian philology.
The event brought together leading scholars, teachers, graduate students and students interested in researching literary heritage and language processes. Participants noted that the figure of Mikhail Rudov is iconic in the history of Kyrgyz philology. His work in literary criticism, poetry and translation had a profound influence on the formation of the philological school in Kyrgyzstan.
Rudovsky readings took place at the Department of Russian Philology, Faculty of Humanities, KRSU.
Colleagues and students of M.A. Rudov made presentations on creativity and scientific activity:
prof. Ibraimov O.I, Prof. Lazaridi M.I, Prof. Soronkulov G.U, Ph.D. Ivanova L.V., Ph.D. M.S. Savina and other researchers from KRSU, KNU, KTU, Osh University, from Ulan-Ude and Moscow.
During the readings, all speakers noted the enormous merits of M.A. Rudov in the practice of translating Kyrgyz poetry into Russian, in the development and study of literary genres and the fable genre, in Rudov’s poetic work and his organizational activities in higher education.
During the conference, reports were made on Rudov’s creative and scientific heritage, his role in the popularization of the Russian language and culture. Participants also presented research on modern problems of Russian philology, including issues of language preservation in the context of globalization and digitalization.
The organizers noted that holding such events promotes the exchange of experience between scientists from different countries, increasing the level of scientific research and popularizing philological disciplines. Such meetings become an important part of the scientific life of the university and strengthen its position as one of the leading educational centers in the region.
The conference ended with a lively discussion, where participants discussed the prospects for the development of philology, emphasizing the importance of integrating scientific approaches and preserving cultural heritage.
