The XXI Regional Team Student Competition of Kyrgyzstan in ICPC programming was held at KRSU
November 1–2 Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University became the site of the country's largest IT event — 21st Regional Team Student Competition of Kyrgyzstan in Programming (ICPC). This year, 61 teams (190 participants) from leading universities in Kyrgyzstan took part.
ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) — the largest and most prestigious international programming championship, held since 1977 by ICPC Global. CIS countries, including Kyrgyzstan, are part of the Northern Eurasia Superregion (NERC). The purpose of the competition is to identify talented student programmers, develop teamwork skills and encourage young professionals who can apply knowledge to solve complex IT problems.
Regional competitions of Kyrgyzstan have been held on the basis of KRSU since 2004 and are the national programming championship among universities of the republic. Co-organizer — Federation of Sports Programming of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Based on the results of the competition:
— the SpiritWagon team (Dzhamalov Tengiz, Dmitry Dmitriev) took 3rd place and received a 1st degree diploma;
— the ZeroHour team (Ulukbekov Erdzhan, Garov Anvar, Ulitsky Alexander) took 4th place and received a II degree diploma.
The top 15 teams are recommended to compete in the Northern Eurasia Finals (NERC), which will be held on December 13–15, 2025, simultaneously in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Almaty and Tbilisi.
Partners and sponsors of the competition were Kanda Software, TimelySoft, TimelySkills, the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as with the support of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz Association of Informatics, KARPOU, the Kyrgyz Association of Software and Services Developers and LLC «Gazprom Kyrgyzstan».
