KRSU hosted a ceremonial initiation into students: new educational standards and a vibrant show
The traditional initiation of first-year students took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, in which over 2,000 students took part. The event became an important part of the school year, which opened not only with a ceremony, but also with new education standards introduced as part of a complete modernization of the educational process.
The dedication began with an exciting fair. Creative clubs, studios and project groups presented their achievements and areas of work, and freshmen could immediately enroll in the sections they liked. The studios represented covered various interests: from scientific and IT clubs to creative teams.
The official part of the event was opened by Rector Denis Fomin-Nilov, who emphasized the importance of innovations for future specialists:
«This year will be special for KRSU. We are actively introducing new education standards, including individual educational trajectories and programs developed with the participation of leading Russian universities. Our university has become a center of advanced technology, and each student will have the opportunity to develop along their own unique path».
First Vice-Rector Azamat Naimanbaev added in his speech: «KRSU — this is a place where every student can reveal their abilities. We believe in you and are confident that your path at our university will be successful and full of opportunities».
After the ceremonial performances of the rector and teaching team, the students were treated to a concert program. The creative teams KRSU showed their performances, and competitions with prizes gave a lot of vivid emotions. The first-year students received memorable gifts — the university’s signature merchandise, symbolizing start of a new stage in their lives.
This set of freshmen will be the first to study according to the latest standards, including individual trajectories and curricula from the best universities in Russia. The university sets ambitious goals, and today's students — the future of science, technology and professional fields in Kyrgyzstan.
KRSU has once again proven its leading role in the country's educational system, training young professionals to work in the most advanced industries.
