A meeting of the scientific and technical council was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, at which the results of 2024 were summed up and plans for 2025 were approved. The event was led by the acting rector of KRSU Sergei Volkov and brought together representatives of the academic and scientific community of the university.
Results of the year
During the meeting, the successful implementation of key tasks was noted, including the implementation of scientific projects, the development of international cooperation and the introduction of innovative solutions. Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of the work of university centers and institutes, identifying them as the main platforms for scientific and educational activities.
Plans for 2025
In the new year, special attention will be paid to:
Strengthening scientific activities, including support for young scientists through grant programs, publications and participation in international forums.
Development of innovation infrastructure, creation of modern laboratories and introduction of digital technologies.
Expanding the work of student scientific associations (SNOs), which will become a platform for the implementation of interdisciplinary projects, organization of competitions and forums.
Sergei Volkov noted that an important area will be intensifying interaction with industrial and scientific partners for the commercialization of the university’s scientific developments.
Summing up, acting of the rector stated:
"Our priority is – strengthening the scientific potential of the university, supporting young researchers and developing innovation. These steps will allow KRSU to maintain leadership in the educational and scientific spheres both in the republic and abroad."
The Council approved strategic initiatives that will form the basis for the further development of the university and its scientific ecosystem.
