KRSU hosted the first day of presentation of regional programs for the voluntary resettlement of compatriots to Russia
On December 2, the first day of presentations of the State Program to Promote the Voluntary Resettlement of Compatriots in the Russian Federation took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. The event brought together representatives of Russian regions, diplomatic service employees and residents of Kyrgyzstan considering the possibility of moving to Russia.
Participants were presented with resettlement conditions, social support measures, employment requirements and life prospects in various constituent entities of the Russian Federation. On the first day, the Kamchatka Territory, Kaliningrad, Khabarovsk and Leningrad regions, Sakhalin and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as the regions of the Urals and Volga region presented their programs.
Nikolai Kudryavtsev, Advisor to the Rector of KRSU and Special Representative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, delivered a welcoming speech:
«We are honored to host an event dedicated to such an important topic. KRSU has always been a place where the destinies and interests of people associated with both Kyrgyzstan and Russia intersect. Our students study under exchange programs, graduates work in leading Russian companies, many employees came from different regions of Russia. Therefore, interaction with Russian subjects —a lively and significant topic for our university».
The format of the meeting allowed the participants to receive consultations from representatives of the Russian Embassy, the Representative Office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyrgyzstan and regional delegations. They spoke in detail about in-demand professions, living conditions, benefits for displaced people, employment opportunities and adaptation.
Presentations will continue on December 3 — on the second day, the program will be presented by Russian regions both at the KRSU site and at the Russian House in Bishkek.
